ANSI standard pin type insulator technical performance listed below :

11kV pin type porcelain insulator are special produced for UK market or some African countries according to BS standard . we will assembled a zinc thimble insert inside the porcelain body with cement, which can accept ​BS standard small steel head spindles . the pin head dimensions completely based on BS 3288 standard .

​Pin insulator color will be adjusted by customer's requirement , it is  brown or grey glaze .

​normally insulator top groove area will be produced with semi-conductive glaze coating which is radio-free type ,​  for normal type top groove , there are no any semi-conductive glaze exist .

​ we test all insulators based on BS standard before shipment.

test items including :

1 visual inspection and dimensional check

2 temperature cycle test

3 cantilever strength test

4 porosity test

5 puncture test

when the test result meet related standards and positive, we can transport the batch of product out of factory.
